Pastoral care enables missionaries to thrive in long-term service. 

 

There are missionaries who do not have access to fellowship and pastoral care when they are in the field. Some of them are living in a cross-cultural and cross-racial context, far from home, and often with fewer resources and experiencing more stress. 

 

Their role is to come along side and journey with them in the field, providing them a safe place to share their concerns, with the aim to enable them to minister as a spiritually/ emotionally healthy and effective individual.
